Feature Requests

A feature is needed to transfer the installation and configuration to another TV. This way, you don't have to re-configure everything from scratch.

I believe this request was answered elsewhere as being added post version 1 release, but that request post also had another request bundled with it. Just making this request as a standalone request incase other people would like to promote this request specifically.

I notice that Dispatch uses the "thumbnail" (horizontal poster) and logo images for its interface on feeds, but not sure how these images are chosen or stored. I have local image assets for these in the folders on some of my movies, so would be good for Dispatch to use those images, but I realize Dispatch is getting images from the Plex server itself, and Plex does not currently support thumbnails or logos (but they have mentioned this is coming soon). The images now were saved from jellyfin downloading them, as it runs on the same library of media. I just think it would be nice since it would give the server owner some control over the thumbnail/logo image used (and possibly reduce external server calls to get them since they would be local).

Would be great to have an option somewhere in the launcher to donate or "buy a coffee" to support the project and future updates

Allow users to use icons to represent Home, Movies, Television, and Apps tabs. When enabled, users should be allowed to favourite more apps than usual.

A row on the homescreen that allows users to pin apps for easy access (without app peek). Use case: Give the user easy access to additional apps without having to navigate to the Apps tab. This could just launch straight into the app, without app peek (basically, for second-tier apps or additional favorite apps when the user has pinned the maximum number of apps)

You’ve already provided access to our Plex Movies and TV Shows, which has been a fantastic addition. If you were to integrate music into the Dispatch UI as well, it would truly take the platform to the next level, creating a more complete and seamless entertainment experience for users.
