This would be nice. My TCL TV remote has a button for profile, for example, to switch profile on Google TV, but it's disabled when using Dispatch. I could then remap (supposing it would not work out of the box) for the future profiles on Dispatch. 
I noticed that if I disable Google TV app, the settings button on the remote would not work (from where I can access android, audio, video settings...), so from inside Dispatch I have no way to get there, only to Dispatch settings. Maybe a remap could handle this.
The same goes for other useless buttons, like Netflix/Disney+ that I'm not a subscriber, but could be used to open other apps.

Erik That's true, I put this here at the behest of a user making this request to me directly. I'm personally not sure what the use case will be, but I'm curious if those who are voting on it would like to chime in.

One benefit would be that it's possible there are performance impacts to having multiple apps use accessibility services to track button presses, so coalescing that into a single service might smooth things out on certain devices. I'd have to test this, though, since performance implications regarding accessibility services are infamously unclear on android.
