Fixed in v1.0.037 and confirmed with OP.

Hello! Please upgrade to the latest build by either reinstalling from scratch or by updating + clearing the app's cache + data. This issue has affected more than few users, and for most I believe the build released yesterday morning should resolve it. Thanks!

Paul Dhaliwal This fixed it for me! Thanks Paul!

Paul Dhaliwal sadly it is still stuck, completely deleted the app and reinstalled. Left all the options default and connected to my Plex.

Paul Dhaliwal what I also found is that all the apps on the home screen show the state of when dispatch is added. They don't update at all. For example twitch still shows the state/streamers when I installed dispatch. What services are needed for dispatch to work? Because I slimmed my Nvidia shield down a bit.

Hello! When setting up Dispatch and you get to this screen, do you see your libraries listed on the right?
If you are willing to help me troubleshoot, if you could do the following, it would be very helpful:
1 - Clear the cache to start the setup from scratch. When you see the Get Start button, long click it so that it enables logging throughout the setup process.
2 - Proceed through the setup process and let the app run and generate metadata for about 10 minutes.
3 - Extract the logs from the same place you enabled the logs. Do not disable logging before extracting them, as that will clear the logs.
If you’re comfortable extracting the database as well, do that too. No sensitive information is contained in there, however, it would allow me to see the contents of your library.
4 - Upload the logs, and db if you extracted it, to google drive or some other upload site and DM me the link.
5 - If you don’t know how to extract the zip files from your device, you can DM me the email address you used to sign up, and I can enable the ability for your device to send me the zipped logs directly
Thanks!

Paul Dhaliwal Yes I can see my libraries. The log is quite short:

The shield definetly has internet and I set it up this time to use the local connection.
Did another run and the log changed:
since I cannot and will not post the complete log I will post the errors I find: https://pastebin.com/rqp0Yr7K

Max Ebert Would you be willing to send me the complete logs directly? I didn't mean for you to post them here on this page.
You can do so to dispatchtvdev@gmail.com, or you can DM me on Reddit. If not, no worries, I will start looking with what you have posted here. Thanks!
Max Ebert
Paul Dhaliwal will send it to you by mail.
Paul Dhaliwal
Max Ebert Perfect thanks!

Paul Dhaliwal Did you find anything?

This happened to me as well. I managed to get it working by resetting the data for the Dispatch app and redoing the setup. I also made sure to leave the remote connection setting on. I initially turned that off thinking a local connection would be better, but maybe that is what broke it. I also just let it do its thing and didn't try to force my way through the menus while syncing.

Thanks for trying to help. I hat it already set up like this. Still tried to reset but it still does just say generating metadata and calculating time.
