Settings > WiFi / Bluetooth
Then use the back arrow in the Chromecast/Google TV remote instead of the button (that I noticed after pressing back).
This leaves you back in Dispatch settings with nothing selected and the remote no longer has any effect.
A force close is needed to regain control as the remember navigation is enabled, meaning it just returns to the same inactive settings view on reload.

Apologies, I was not able to reproduce the issue for a video so I may have just mentally assigned it to the last action when an earlier action was the cause.
I did toggle a few options during the same flow.

This also happens when making changes to the media library options in settings. Toggling home feed or app peak options on an app is causing this issue for us.
