As of now when attempting to resume playback of some apps from the home screen the playback position is not correct, this request is for a feature workaround to make it so videos from all sources are not resumed but simply cause the respective app to open from the continue watching/watch next home screen.

This should fix the playback issue, as opening the app first has the correct playback location. Also this could potentially allow the app to be brought into focus instead of reopened it, if it is already open in the background

I would like this to be an option from the menu and if possible have it togglable for each app, if not, a system wide option would still be useful.
